The planned layout is a freelanced Pennsylvania Railroad in HO scale loosely based on the Northern Division. The setting is in the 1950’s allowing both steam and early diesel power running on the layout. The layout is operated using a Lenz DCC system with CVP wireless throttles allowing for nine operators. All turnouts are powered by Tortoise switch machines. The rail is code 83 walthers shinohara with DCC friendly turnouts. Hidden staging and helix track is Peco code 100. All locomotives have sound decoders. The layout room is custom built, 13m x 6m and is air conditioned. The style is a walk in type double deck layout in a W formation. It runs point to point and access the upper and lower decks with two helixes. I use a car card and waybill system for operations.
